After working in organizational and leadership development for more than a decade, Marina established Tandem Consulting in 1999. She works with companies located in the United States as well as Canada. Her loyal client base includes ADP, Equity Office Properties, New York Life – Investment Management Division, Marakon Associates, CBIZ Corporation and the Fulcrum Network.
Prior to establishing Tandem Consulting, she was a consultant for Automatic Data Processing, Inc. (ADP), within its Leadership Development and Organizational Development Group. While at ADP, she focused primarily on the development of leaders and teams. In 1997, Marina developed and implemented ADP’s cutting-edge corporate university, “The Institute for Service Leadership.” In addition, she was the director of leadership and organization development for ADP’s largest business unit, which had annual sales of more than $2 billion. During her seven years at ADP, she facilitated hundreds of training and team building sessions and helped more than 1,500 individuals, at all levels within management, enhance their leadership and organizational skills.
Before she joined ADP, Marina worked for the Hyatt Hotels Corporation from 1988 to 1992. Beginning in Budapest, Hungary, Marina was appointed the first Director of Training in that Hyatt location. Upon returning to the United States, Marina served as Director of Training and worked with Hyatt Hotels throughout the Chicago metropolitan area.
Marina holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Restaurant Management from the University of Illinois and a Master of Arts in Human Resource Development from Northeastern Illinois University. Additionally, she spent six months in Switzerland receiving an Hotelier degree.
